Sometimes our desk cannot be positioned near a suitable light source, whether it is coming from a wall lamp, ceiling light or from a window. This lack of good light source can cause a strain on our eyes over a long period. Also, multiple shadows that fall across our desk can mean we have to squint to see any documents on our desk. By having an ergonomic light source on our desk, we can minimise these problems.
