The Humanscale Path chair builds on the company's legacy of minimal, ergonomic and eco-conscious design, delivering what they call "complexity simplified". It provides streamlined support that automatically adjusts for each user by eliminating manual controls and springs. The Path is better for you and the environment because it doesn't have too many parts.
Instead of knobs and levers, the gravity mechanism in each chair uses the sitter's body weight. As a result, each user receives instantaneous, individualized support and recline that is completely in sync with their movement.
Equally as innovative as Path's design is its FormSense Eco Knit, a mesh-like textile made from upcycled plastic bottles that conforms to the body, providing self-adjusted lumbar support and a tailored fit to every user, regardless of their height or weight. Each stitch is individually controlled, resulting in an instantly responsive experience.
