Backrest and Seat Material

Aireweave Seat Colours

The Herman Miller Mirra Chair has no foam paddingon the backrest; it has a patented material called TriFlex™. This material is designed to move naturally as you do and automatically adjust to your movement and body shape. TriFlex™ also acts as a permeable membrane and allows air to pass through, adding to long-term comfort by helping to prevent body heat and moisture build-up.

The Mirra Chair also comes with an optional upholstered cover for the backrest. The Latitude™ fabric looks stylish without adding bulk to the trim profile. Latitude™ is breathable and maintains the total support of the TriFlex™ back.

The seat on the Mirra Chair is just as responsive as the TriFlex™ backrest. The AireWeave™ material combined with the seat suspension responds as soon as you sit down.

The Mirra Chair allows you to mix and match your backrest and seat colours. If you want a Blue Fog coloured backrest with Graphite seat you can have it!

Frame Options

The Herman Miller Mirra Chair is available in stylish Graphite or Shadow Frame and Base.

Seat Depth

The Herman Miller Mirra Chair allows you the choice of a fixed depth seat or the patented FlexFront™ seat edge. This patented technology allows you to adjust the seat to five different positions without moving, placing you in the most comfortable position for your waist, legs and knees while working.

Back Support

The Herman Miller Mirra Chair comes with a choice of Back Supports. When seated your Spine and Back have to support the weight of you upper body, meaning pressure is placed on your vertebrae and pelvis. The chair is fitted with a passive PostureFit™ contour, designed to solve the problem of slouching and the forward position that results from working at a computer or desk. Slouching can lead to lower back, shoulder and neck pain which can result in restlessness and discomfort while working. PostureFit™ is designed to provide support for the lower back and support the spine so that you can work in a more ergonomic and comfortable position.

Also available is an additional Adjustable Lumbar Support to provide further support for your upper and lower back.

Armrest Options

The Herman Miller Mirra Chair allows you to select whether you include armrests for your chairs. You can choose to have no arms or fully adjustable arms with pivot. The pivot option allows arms to be rotated left or right to allow you to get into the most comfortable position.

Armpad Options

If you choose to have armrests on your chair you can also select the type of material the armpads will be upholstered in. You can choose Black or Shadow coloured armrest.

Tilt Options

The Herman Miller Mirra Chair allows you to select the tilt options you prefer. There are three options to choose from:

Without Tilt Limiter – Recline position cannot be locked to suit your preference.

Tilt Limiter – The Tilt Limiter lets you recline in the chair to a position that you can then set as the limit. Once locked the chair will not recline further back than the locked position but will still allow you to move forward.

Tilt Limiter + Forward Tilt – This option provides the Tilt Limiter with the ability to tilt forward past the horizontal point. This is useful when sitting at an increased height.

Castor Options

The Herman Miller Mirra Chair is available in a choice of Castors for Carpet or Hard Floors. The Hard Floor option also allows the choice of Castors with or without brakes or the option to have Glides, which are like rubber feet.
