Back2 offer Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Assessments as part of the service to clients. As the ergonomic industry is rapidly growing DSE Assessments are increasing in importance. Following the DSE Assessment, the client will receive a report within 2 working days detailing the issues arising (if any), action to be taken by the assessed worker and manager as well as possible solutions/recommendations to meet the employee's and client's needs.

It is beneficial for a qualified professional to carry out DSE Assessments as it allows the recommendations for the end users to be made on a specific and individual basis. This enables us to get the right equipment to the right person.

DSE Assessments available:
• Required DSE Assessment: This is a tick sheet assessment which should be completed by all the computer users within an organisation (there are some users who may be exempt but this can be judged on an individual basis).
• Remedial DSE Assessment:  This assessment will be more detailed than a Required DSE Assessment and will be carried out by a qualified DSE assessor who is also a qualified healthcare professional. 
• Complex DSE Assessment:  This level of assessment is more in-depth than Required or Remedial DSE Assessments and is generally undertaken for those who have recognised musculoskeletal (or alternative medical) conditions which must be accommodated for.  A Complex DSE Assessment needs to be carried out by a healthcare professional.
