Pellicle® Options (Swatches)

The Herman Miller Aeron Chair has no foam padding, it has a unique type of material called Pellicle. This material helps distribute the weight of the person evenly over the seat and back. This material also acts as a permeable membrane and allows air to pass through, adding to long-term comfort by helping to prevent body heat and moisture build-up.

Available in three variations; Classic, Waves and Tuxedo. Colour options vary depending on choosing the Graphite or Titanium Chair

Frame Options

The Herman Miller Aeron Chair is available in slick Graphite Frame, Base and Linkage (the part of the chair that joins the base to the seat), Graphite Frame, Linkage and Polished Aluminium Base or Graphite Frame and Polished Aluminium Base and Linkage.

Also available is the Herman Miller Aeron Chair - Titanium offering you the exclusive look of a lighter colour Aeron. This chair comes with a Smoke Frame and Titanium Base and Linkage.

Size Options

The Herman Miller Aeron Chair comes in three sizes. Simply pick the size you require:

• Size A generally is suitable for those under 166cm
• Size B for those from 167cm to 182cm
• Size C for those 182cm plus.

Back Support

The Herman Miller Aeron Chair comes with a choice of Back Supports. When seated your Spine and Back have to support the weight of you upper body, meaning pressure is placed on your vertebrae and pelvis. The Lumbar Support (first image below) is designed to help relieve this pressure.

PostureFit™ (third image above) is designed to solve the problem of slouching and the forward position that results from working at a computer or desk. Slouching can lead to lower back, shoulder and neck pain which can result in restlessness and discomfort while working. PostureFit™ is designed to provide support for the lower back and support the spine so that you can work in a more ergonomic and comfortable position.

We recommend choosing the PostureFit® option to get the most out of your Aeron Chair.

Armrest Options

The Herman Miller Aeron Chair allows you to select whether you include armrests for your chairs and whether these arms will be adjustable. You can choose to have no arms, fixed height arms, adjustable arms or adjustable arms with pivot. The pivot option allows arms to be rotated left or right to allow you to get into the most comfortable position.

Armpad Options

If you choose to have armrests on your chair you can also select the type of material the armpads will be upholstered in. For the Graphite chairs you can choose black vinyl or leather in black or umber colours. The Titanium Chair is available with Smoke Vinyl or Leather in Black, Umber or Smoke colours.

Tilt Options

The Herman Miller Aeron Chair allows you to select the tilt options you prefer. There are three options to choose from:

Without Tilt Limiter – Recline position cannot be locked to suit your preference.

Tilt Limiter – The Tilt Limiter lets you recline in the chair to a position that you can then set as the limit. Once locked the chair will not recline further back than the locked position but will still allow you to move forward.

Tilt Limiter + Forward Tilt – This option provides the Tilt Limiter with the ability to tilt forward past the horizontal point. This is useful when sitting at an increased height.

Castor Options

The Herman Miller Aeron Chair is available in a choice of Castors for Carpet or Hard Floors. The Hard Floor option also allows the choice of Castors with or without brakes or the option to have Glides, which are like rubber feet.
